Why I’m Changing Up My Wellness Routine...

As part of #SmallSwapBigImpact, I’m swapping out a couple of familiar favourites in my day-to-day - not because they were bad, but because what I choose now needs to support how I feel, not just be part of my previous habits.
I’m swapping my usual room spray for the Quiet Blue MNPS/1 Candle and replacing my regular hand cream with Happy Balm.
Why these changes?
This time of year always brings on the winter blues - shorter days, less light, more stress - and for me that can tip into something very real: a feeling of low mood, heaviness, and mood instability. On top of that, I’ve been noticing more emotional fluctuations lately and suspect I might be perimenopausal, which only adds another layer to how I experience the long dark afternoons.
At the same time, I’m juggling so many roles - mother, business owner, wife - and my mood often ends up dictating the type of day I have. Some days feel energised and positive; others feel heavy before they’ve even begun.
So, I chose these swaps with intention:
Quiet Blue
The Quiet Blue candle is a cleaner, natural aromatherapy option designed to support calm and restful moments at home, without hormone-disrupting toxins commonly found in fragranced products. Its soothing scent helps create a space that feels comforting and grounding during the busier or tougher days.

Skin & Tonic
Happy Balm is more than a hand cream - its blend of uplifting essential oils like bergamot, red mandarin and spearmint is crafted to help boost mood and energy while also nourishing skin. It’s a small ritual that brings a moment of joy and intention into my day.
These swaps aren’t dramatic, and they won’t fix everything - but they help me notice how I’m feeling, and choose something that supports me in that moment.
This challenge for me is about being kind to myself - through real, thoughtful swaps that make life feel a little lighter.
